His guitar and music takes us to all corners of the world across different music genres. The source of Moh! Kouyaté’s inspiration though is mainly derived from his lineage in Guinea: he comes from a family of griots whose roots lie in the 13th century. Moh! combines the Mandingo blues with music from other African cultures all the way to the shores of Niger, and throws on top of that Afro-American sounds and rock influences in between. Always funky, always a irresistable party.
In short: Moh! Kouyaté calls himself a true world citizen; his roots are in Guinea and his heart in Paris, while his music covers the entire planet!Tweet
