Les Tambours Sacrés De La Réunion

With their catchy broad smile, Les Tambours Sacrés represent a whirlwind of colors and cheerful percussion. This over-enthusiastic gang plays repetitive rhythms on the malbar drum, traditionally used to call the Hindu gods.

Thirty years ago they came to Sfinks, and this year they are back with the new generation! They present the Indian ritual music of a magical island to the West of Africa, an island where religions and cultures of different migration waves (Indians, French, Africans, Chinese, Malay, …) flourish in coexistence.
